The recording is unlike anything I’ve heard. It is a two-act musical/opera that introduces kids to the orchestra and classical music while telling a touching story of friendship. The orchestra was recorded in Prague and the singers are Metropolitan Opera singers: Nathan Gunn, Isabel Leonard, John McVeigh, Jerry Siena, and well…me. My girls have been listening to this recording for months, and it is still our favorite. Our family has choreographed much of the show. We sing-a-long, quote the lines, and dance away in our mini-van. I know many of you share my concern for the health of classical music in our country and are already ambassadors for music. This recording does much to help build an audience for the future!
